EHopper (90), Minnesota, USA Mar 22, 2008 I end up drinking this beer when it is the darkest beer on tap at some restaurant. The light red color is very inviting, but the thin white head telegraphs a thin flavor. Still, better than most mass produced lagers, except occasionally when an annoying metallic flavor creeps in.
502Flavors (188), Kentucky, USA Jul 25, 2008 Draft at a local strip club. Pretty nice nut amber color with very minimal head and active carbonation - i.e. is just tastes like a pale lager. Tastes like a pale lager with food coloring in it. No real aroma or flavor characteristics, just water and very light malt character. Light body. Overall: not horrible; not anything but drinkable. joeymacaroni (37), West Chester, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 22, 2008 pours amber brown with almost no head. heavy maltiness with a little brown sugar and dark fruit. barely any bitterness. kinda oily. finish is corny and wheaty. kinda refreshing, but kinda gives me a stomachache. ericandersnavy (86), denton, Texas, USA Jul 20, 2008 bottle. poured a clear amber with a copper hue and a thin tan head. aroma was weak with caramel and floral notes. flavor was caramel and thought i was picking up some honey in there. high carbonation. WesKBob (124), Bethany, Oklahoma, USA Jul 19, 2008 Pours a copper-amber color with moderate foamy white head. Aroma is weak and malty. Flavor is malty and a good amount of spice. Moderate carbonation and a slightly dry finish. Just so so. ilherps (40), USA Jul 16, 2008 For a macro brew, this is good. Nice dark amber color with a good malty finish.
