intense amber color with hints of red. It was extremely bready and I found it too be overly sweet. All in all it was okay

Bottle, pours amber with a thin off white head, sweet malt taste with a hint of caramel, light bitter but a little bit watery, not a bad beer, just average

UPDATED: JUN 5, 2014 Dark red pour. Caramel and malt aroma with a bit of sweetness. Malty flavor with a bit of a bland finish.

This beer is a mild amber. The nose is thin but the taste has a certain bite to it and also a quality which suggests the presence of brewing adjuncts. The balance is good but the finish is a little rough. An okay brew, but nothing special.

chucklemation (411) - Pontiac, Michigan, USA - MAY 9, 2014
Pours a ruby red, not much of a head. Not much of an aroma either, maybe some caramel. Flavor is better, with light malts and sweet caramel. Has a light body feel but isn’t watery. Despite its light flavor and feel, this is pretty decent.

Pours a clear amber with a nice ruby cast. Low average head with moderate retention and lacing. Light malt focused nose which is a blend of biscuit and caramel. Medium bodied with a nice smooth texture. Normal carbonation level with associated effervescence on the finish. The well balanced flavor profile begins as the nose and flows to a pleasant bitterness. The finish effervesces nicely accentuating the hop flavor and leaving a tingle on the tongue.

Had this Irish Red on tap when the only alternatives were BMC. The taste is a malty, bready flavor. The head doesn’t linger around too long. Not a lot of hop flavor or aroma. This a great alternative to BMC type beers.

Pours amber with a thin white head. It has a malty and caramel aroma. It tastes sweet with slight hops and cocoa.

Amber with a thin head. Some caramel and maltiness fairly sweet. Decent drinking beer. Not as bad as many of the reviews

Had a couple pints at the Ace Hi Tavern in Golden. Easy to drink, pretty decent for $2.25 on tap at a bar. Hopefully it was brewed just a few blocks away but who knows.

Aroma is grainy malt. Flavor is caramel, musty grains, ever so light spicy hop. Flavor is much the same. Better than light beer.
