Roasty chocolate aroma. Medium body with average carbonation. Roasty one dimensional flavor; maybe some coffee. Dark clear brown with a big khaki head. Side note: who says "little astringency" in their commercial description... I guess in that light, you could say Iím actually quite impressed with this.

Killians (Coors) origin leads me to expect a competent but probably mild stout. Well, surprise ... this stout is fairly robust and has some character. A wallop of dark chocolate and hint of coffee are in the mix with a moderate amount of dark roasted malts. The aroma is alos stronger than average for style.
Good balance and a fine lingering aftertaste.
Feel: Semi-dry; medium body and carbonation.

Bue ŗ la pression. ArŰmes chocolat noir principalement. Mousse marron clair. Assez corpulente.

12 oz. bottle served in a shaker- poured a near perfect shade of black with a shade of very dark maroon when held to a light source, darkened tan colored head one finger in height formed and laced very well upon the vessel. Aroma of a malt (or extract) that was roasted, molasses cookies, and a note of bricks. Yea, bricks, go figure. Hits the mouth with a medium body, that malt tastes burnt to hell and back- and not in a good way for once, hard sugar in the middle, finish has some smoke and residual acidity. Poorly made obviously.

Not much of a taste to it definitely a dry stout but lacks the full flavor, looks good large head

Way blacker than I would have expected. Itís kind of a black hole, since no light really passes through it. The head is a tad weak but other than that not bad.
The aroma surprised me: burnt cookies, raisins and plums. There is a salty soy component, hint of mineral. Stunned at the aroma so far.
The taste is sweeter than the scent would indicate. There is more of that mineral-rock, but also a kind of musty malt. Not bad but doesnít quite hold up to the promise of the aroma.
Feel is a combo of cigarette ashes and olive oil. A pretty decent offering by Killians, I have to say. My inclination was to crap on any Coors product but at least this put some thought into it.

Not bad considering itís coming from Killianís. It had a nice head that lasted about a minute or two and the taste with that was pretty good. After it dissolved, the rest of the beer was thin with a mild smoke flavor, with almost no bitterness or depth to it. However, it was not unpleasant and was a smooth drink.

Bottle from mom. Not bad, nothing amazing either. That being said nice notes of coffee and roasted malt. Fine.
