Bottle. Dark brown pour with tan head and a good lacing. Smells of dark chocolate and coffee and also something almost sour. Tastes of toasted malts with a dark chocolate bitter finish. Very thin for a stout. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I honestly do not understand the low ratings for this. Maybe it is lacking somewhat in the aroma department, and the head is a little thin, but overall a worthy competitor to other stouts, and more affordable as well. Coors should get some thanks.

12 ounce bottle from Kroger - Hydraulic - Charlottesville. Pours a dark reddish brown color with a large foamy brown head. Good head retention. You gotta love a wave of skunk upon opening a brown bottle. Aroma of skunk, caramel, grain, mild chocolate. The taste is chocolate, grain, hoppy finish. Thin bodied.

For the price, its pretty fair. Pour was impressive, nice head; basic cola color, decent aroma. Reminded me of a poor manís Guinness.

Bottle pour. This was a fairly good stout from a source that I usually donít expect that much.

12 oz. bottle. BBD JUL1513. Pours a medium, well retained beige head, with hints of lacing, over a clear, brown, black (SRM 35) body.....nose is coffee, chocolate, tobacco.....taste is coffee, lighter chocolate, tobacco hints, slight sourness, finishing with a light lingering hop tobacco bitterness....mouth feel light of medium, carbonation adds light tingle. This falls well within the broad category of Stout, and is quite typical of the BJCP category of Dry Stout. The aromas and flavors are really spot on, which is a surprise given the relatively low score. BJCP 8/3/14/4/7
