Cask conditioned at The Kings Arms Hotel, Haskayne, Lancs. Gold with white head. Certainly this type of beer is in vogue at the moment, a dryish, hoppy, flowery light beer to target lager drinkers. This one is ok, understated, if just a little plain.

Cask @ The Pembury. Golden with a thin white head. Notes of lemon/lime, juicyfruit gum-like yeast esters and sweet malts in the nose. Taste is much the same, kind of a cross between a pils and a Belgian blonde. Lots of fruity yeast esters and a crisp hop bitterness, quite refreshing.
