Clear medium yellow orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, fruity, citrus. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120119]

Cask @ JDW Southport. Poured a light amber with a small head. Full of citrus flavour with a prominent bitterness on the swallow. Hops dominate the finish with an almost creamy/vanillla aftertaste. A decent beer from a decent brewery.

(Cask at Welkin JDW, Liverpool, 19 July 2009) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity nose with citrus peel, biscuity malt and a touch of butter (diacetyl?). Fruity taste with notes of citrus, biscuity malt and fairly fresh hops in the finish. Decent bitter with a nice hop character. Unsure of the condition though.

Hoppy aroma. White head. Golden amber coloured floral and hoppy with a crisp and bitter malt finish.
3. Cask Handpump at the Penny Black JDW, Northwich 18/06/2010
Hoppy aroma. Large white head. Golden coloured hoppy and fruity with an orange flavour. A little dryness and bitterness in a malt finish.
