Cask @ JDW Southport. Poured a light amber with a small head. Full of citrus flavour with a prominent bitterness on the swallow. Hops dominate the finish with an almost creamy/vanillla aftertaste. A decent beer from a decent brewery.

(Cask at Welkin JDW, Liverpool, 19 July 2009) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity nose with citrus peel, biscuity malt and a touch of butter (diacetyl?). Fruity taste with notes of citrus, biscuity malt and fairly fresh hops in the finish. Decent bitter with a nice hop character. Unsure of the condition though.
