Cask (handpump) at GBBF, August 2006. Golden colour. Some unwelcome diacetyl in the aroma. Clean and dry on the palate. Fortunately the diacetyl did not persist. More malt than expected from the style. Decent enough but a bit dull. Didn’t seem in sparkling condition.

Cask at GBBF 2006. An orange beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet with buttery and flowery notes. The flavor is sweet buttery, leading to a nicely bitter end that also contains some grapefruit notes. Remove the butter and this is a very nice beer.

Cask conditioned – handpump – GBBF. A golden coloured bitter with some diacetyl spoiling the hoppy aroma. The taste is sweet with more diacetyl. Chewy and not on good form.
