Cask@gallows raf15. Light copper. Bit muddy malty nose. Some grains, corn. Pale malty round corn malty, bit rubbery. Dunno, feels bit like its been sitting either too long or not enough. Some refeshment there.

Cask @ Gallows bird, real ale festival 2015. Amber colored, thin white head. Grainy, fruity, water melon, citrus aroma. Flavor has grapefruit, sweet tropical fruits, strong bitterness. Really nice.

(Cask at Gallow’s Bird Real Ale Festival ’15) The beer poured deep golden and clear. Its head was small and white. Aroma had green apples, malts, toffee and caramel. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were malts, caramel, earth, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, malty and bitter. A bit harsh pale ale.

Cask @ Gallows Bird Real Ale Festival 2015 Aroma has apricot, minerals and some floral tones. Flavour has strong mineral tones, mint, some apricot and some gooseberry bush. Too much mint here. Does not feel very American.

Gravity dispense at the Happy Man Autumn BF, Englefield Green, 11/10/13. Clear golden with a thin off white head. Nose is toasty malt, citurs, orange, a little subdued. Taste carries more depth, orange pith, toasty malts, lemon rind. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, dry grassy bitterness in the finish. Not enough hop presence for an APA - good old golden blonde in my book, an average to drinkable one at that.

(Bottle): Pours a clear golden colour, small white head. Aroma of pale malt, lemon zest and a touch of biscuit. Grapefruit, lemon, hop flavour with a nice subdued sweet malty background. Lovely beer.

Paler golden body than the others. Film of frothy white head. Juicy and a touch farty nose. Tingling creamy mouthfeel. Subtle tropical fruit in a light malt. Dry undulating finish. Wee bit too bitter linger. Best of the bunch.

Cask, JDW, Liverpool Airport

Live rate. 500ml bottle. Dusty yellow gold with a bright foaming head. Lemony aroma with distracting rust and aluminium. Decent floral, lemon zest and lemon infused sponge notes upfront leading to a slightly earthy, monkey nut-like malt finish with a likeable tweak of bitterness. Better than expected.
