Cask in Smithfield, Manchester. I was totally unprepared for this - a full-on citrus hop smack in the face! Massive citrus hop nose and flavour, resinous and oily, and a very bitter yet still magnificently citrussy finish. Glorious.

Cask gravity at GBBF 2007. Gold, lasting off white head. Lovely fresh hop aroma, grapefruit, but restrained. Really lovely in mouth. Good condition. Fragrant hop. Nice beer, malts are fine, a little earthy on the end.

Golden and clear ale with a gentle white ring. From there on, itís all good. This is indeed an aromatic ale with well-extracted malts procuring fresh breadiness as much as soft grains. The maltiness reminds of a good Helles in softness, though there is a small sourdough connotation. Herbal, bright hops were not to be neglected though and they show up to remove any helles idea and add a delicate grassiness that has the drinkability level climbing many steps. A noble manís bitter.

Cask, Everyman, Liverpool. Clear gold, with a lingering creamy white head. Fruity, hoppy aroma. Fragrant, clean, grassy flavour with nice citrus hop. You can’t beat a good pipe dream man.

This is great session beer, really refreshing and packs a real citrus and grapefruit punch. Its pale golden colour and thick brilliant white head make for an enticing ale, with itís dry finish is leaves you craving more. It is well deserving of its awards and hopefully inspire more beers like it!

Cask@GBBF2007. Golden colour, small bubbly head. Aroma is really oaky and wooden along with some slight hoppy hints. Flavour is very wooden, hoppy and has a slight acidic touch to it. Nice.

Cask/gravity at GBBF 2011. Golden with a mid-coarse white head and a hopy grapefruit nose. A big hoppy and malty palate with bitter citrus notes and a long bitter finsh. Tasty.

Cask at GBBF 2012. Golden coloured bitter. Wow this is actually quite good, a well balanced bitter with a grapefruit marmelade hop character and a long bitter finish.
