A Mes rate. Cask at the Market Porter. Clean gold with a thin white head. Fruity malt with some definite overseas character. A decent amount of grassy hops. Nicely balanced. Good citric notes in the finish. Just a little too slick and juicy. Not bad.

Cask handpump at the Everyman Bistro, Liverpool 29-11-08. Pours golden with great clarity and a nice white slim head. I note that there is a dryness to this straight away but then the fruitiness starts to flood through and there are some really nice slightly overipe golden plums bobbing around in the mouth. Some soapy hops, its soft in the mouth, slick but sweet lemon flavours and the dryness returns along with bitter companion at the end, another very good beer. A6 A4 F7 P4 OV15 3.6

Bottle thanks to ronnie. What a plesent suprise! Aroma is bursting with british floural hop with noteable lemon and ornage characters too. Taste is similarly immencly hoppy, dry bitter full of flavour and whats more its not bottle conditioned so none of the nasty yeastyness iv been getting off british micro’s recently.
