Sampler Tray @Blue Star, Seattle. Dark brown body. Bitter chocolate aroma. Strong and bitter taste: burnt coffee and roasted almonds. It goes perfect with sweet chocolate cake, but it’s not a beer you drink pints of or enjoy by itself, really... (19.Dec 2011 in the pleasant company of Stefan)

16 oz. draft at the Porch- Pours black with reddish hints at the bottom of the glass, aroma is chocolate malt, very porteresque. The flavor is a very strong porter, not in alcohol, but flavor. Roasted chocolate malt up the ass. Palate is creamy mouthfeel, not the best by any means, but a good example of the style.
