Sample at the brewery tap room. This brew is a dark reddish-amber color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily to a film. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt, caramel and hops. Light to medium body with a sweet caramel malt character and notes of ripe fruit and mild hops. The finish is lightly bitter with a short citrusy hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Draught @ Collin’s Pub: Heavy amber, copper hues, fairly dark and dirty, thin sudsy off-white head, sparce lacing, lively carbonation.   Soft malt nose, soft hop presense as well.   Subtle rind in there too.   Hop sided on the tongue, a little bright but not astingent.   Malts are soft but pair well.   Lingering hop goodness.   Moderate to full body and mouthfeel.   This one was rather enjoyable.   Maltier and certainly hopper than your standard Bitter and/or ESB.   Works for me.

Draft at the Dog and Pony. This is some tasty stuff--probably the most appealing and fully-realized brew yet from Georgetown. They’ve nailed the "flagship" (i.e., money-making) beer concept well with the Manny’s and the Roger’s. Now they can play around a little more. This stuff has a gorgeous ruby color and light, moussy, tannish head. Plenty of dark spicy hops in the nose and in the palate, but the body’s crisp and light and drinkable. Surprising that the alcohol’s as high as it is. Totally sessionable. Great stuff.

On tap at The Red Door. This was another great beer from Georgetown. Fantastic deep red color with a good citrus floral hop aroma. Initial slight sweet malt taste with an amazing hop profile on the finish. A medium to full body; I drank a few, but this was already after about 6 pints of other NW micros so I was pretty full already. Overall, I was extremely pleased with this one.

Tap @ Crusty’s: Dark ruby ebony color, light head and nice lacing. Nose of light fruity hops and caramel malt. Flavor is balanced, spicy malt and lighter hops, a tangy finish and moderate body. Kinda in the middle bland.

A deep reddish color with a nice head. Liked the overall use of flavors with this beer. This was full of hops and sweet malts to balance the brew this was very easy to drink. I liked this beer.
