COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A crisp, refreshing and balanced ale that is pale straw colored in appearance and topped with a soft white head. Light bitterness coincides with the delicate fruity and sweet flavors to create an appropriate balance upon first impression. The finish will give the sense of apparent, but subdued malt undertones that are complimented by aromas and flavors of floral spice from late addition noble hops. Pilsner Malt, White Wheat, and Munich Malt. Norther Brewer and Perle hops. IBUs 27 English Ale Yeast ABV 5.4%.

Draft at sb. Pours a hazy medium gold with a loose white head. Mild sweet grassy nose. Creamy light body with soft carb. Caramel and grass on the mid palate. Finish could be crisper, but sbowing decently so far.

Draught. Pours a mostly clear very dark golden color with a moderate white head on there. Nose is light with some corn on there. Taste is a lot wheatier than I would have expected, and grain dominant. Not all that crisp, and reminds me a lot of a lager. Meh.

Serving: from growler--purchased at Georgetown Brewing Co. Aroma: light floral hops and citrus. Appearance: large, frothy, white, initial head with fair lacing and mostly diminishing longevity. Clear, sparkling medium-yellow body. Taste: lightly sweet initial flavor and lightly sour, citrusy finish with short duration. Palate: light-bodied with watery texture and lively carbonation. Overall: although I get sick of drinking Kölsch fairly quickly, this was a very good summertime beer, and I’d be happy to drink it again.
