3.7 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: MAY 30, 2013 Serving: from tap at Via Tribunali.
Aroma: heavily piney-hoppy.
Appearance: small, creamy, off-white, initial head with fully diminishing longevity and very good lacing. Hazy, medium-amber body.
Taste: moderately bitter initial taste with moderately bitter finish and long duration.
Palate: medium to full-bodied with dry texture and soft carbonation.
Overall: very good, not harshly hoppy, but a bit too hoppy for my taste.

Orange gold, off white foam, fine and ample. Lightly soft on carbonation. Moderate bitterness, balancing sweetness, citric tang, solid.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Not quite clear gold with a white head. Aroma and taste are floral and citrusy, with sweet red grapefruit. Very pleasant and drinkable, without any harsh bitterness.

3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A very fruity and a little to sweet aroma.
Iíve given up on any kind of froth. The color is a nice dark golden again.
The taste is hard to describe. First, kind of fruity but then quite bitter, very fast. Seems not very well rounded but itís not exactly bad either... I canít exactly tell what my problem here is, but Iím not a big fan.
The aftertaste is rather bitter in the throat.
Hm, not a really bad beer. But also not my type...

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Fairly sharp dry but pretty aggressively bitter IPA. I thought because itís from Georgetown it couldnít be top top notch, but this is solid stuff.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Nice piny aroma, lasting thick, foamy head, clear copper body. Taste is nothing out of the ordinary, hops mild enough for malt flavors to be present. Decent but not outstanding

On tap at Toronado SF. Hazy orange/amber with a small white head. Nicely hoppy and balanced with grapefruit, hay and pineapple. The finish was bitter and relatively dry.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draught at Beer Komachi. Pours a warm gold, slightly hazy. Sweet citrus aroma, some malts. The hops really pack a punch, but with nice citrus and caramel malt flavours to balance it.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Really citrusy on the nose. Lots of bright hops. The types of hops used make the Tate quite juicy. Really love this fresh.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
On draft. Golden amber pour, with an off white head. Citrus, some sweet malt, mild caramel, bitter orange rind, grapefruit, and slightly metallic. Not bad, but pretty standard IPA.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Served on tap. Pours typical IPA color. Smells leafy and crackery. Tastes like every brewpub IPA youíve ever had. Not all that hoppy, and what hoppiness there is manifests in one-note bitterness and vegetal plantiness. Crackery malt backbone. Meh
