Draught. Pours a hazy lighter amber color with a moderate white head on it. Nose is very hop forward, with a lot of floral and citrus notes coming off it. Feels a little heavy in the palate, with a pleasant refreshing bitterness to it. Nice brew.

This is a big big beer that fools you. Big hop nose, lots of citrus, grapefruit, orangey zesty goodness with a little pine. There’s a solid malt backbone, yet not too much caramel or overly sweet. Instead you get a firm malt toast and a somewhat dry finish. When IPAs exceed the 7% range it makes me think of them more as a IIPA. However, the lightness of this beer’s body is a ++ attribute. No detectable off-flavors. I wish I could consider this to be the new standard for IPA.
