Black sasparilla appearance and creamy head. Not any detectable pumpkin aroma - pretty flat in fact. The flavor is dominated by cereal grains and serrano pepper notes. Minerally. Not at all what I expected of an oatmeal stout.

Amber in color, clear with a thin head. Nice aroma with slight spice lingering. The flavor was subtle with spice and light pumpkin. This was sweet to taste and finish. Not bad as a pumpkin beer goes.

Draft at GPBF. Pours a clear medium amber with a loose white head. Sweet spicy nose. Creamy medium body with lively carb. A little overly sweet and cookieish mid-palate. One of the more straightforward pumpkin ales at GPBF 11.
