COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A careful selection of Northwest hops, premium barley, and our unique yeast give this ale a rich and complex malty middle with a snappy hop finish. Crisp, clean and smooth with hints of citrus and fruit.

On tap at the Inter Bay golf course. Pours a near clear amber with a near white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has resin and pine with a strong sweet grain and toffee backbone. Flavor is similar with caramel and sweet grains up front with a grass and resin backbone.

On tap in a shaker. Pours hazy amber with a white head. Aroma of floral and lightly piney hops, some pale and light caramel malts, and some dough. Flavor the same with a decent blend. Average texture. Not a bad beer.

On tap at Joe’s Bar and Grill in downtown Seattle. An orange amber beer with a moderate white head and a pronounced orange citrus nose. On the palate we have citrus hops and robust malt background notes. 3.4.

Hoppy aroma, enjoyable. American beer and froth... Sad. But the color is a nice dark golden. Taste is little flat, but overall not too sweet and not too bitter. Aftertaste is a little on the bitter and malty side, but just within limits to still be tasty. Overall a very solid and fine pale ale.

Pleasant almost sessionable unfiltered pale ale. Low carbonation, soft almost cask like mouthfeel. An enjoyable brew but not sure I would come back to it.

UPDATED: MAY 17, 2015 Tap pour at Shawn O’Donnell’s in Seattle. Pint glass. Appealing golden orange appearance. Little cloudy essence. Lacing is high quality. Aroma of pine. Crisp and clean. Taste actually surprises. A good balance of hops at the onset and malt at the end. Smooth and easy to drink. Reminds me of a Fulton Sweet Child of Vine. Resiny and a hint of tropical fruit. Probably a solid go-to beer for locals.

Tap at ODonnels in Seattle. Bumped pint glass with commonmac and rosskyle. Good lacing. Hazy copper with white head. Smells nice pine hop . Taste is very palatable, smooth and rich. Full flavor balances sugar and hops. Really easy to drink and coats the mouth well. Smooth finish not too hoppy. Pleasant surprise.

Nocturne (1134) - Cheshire, ENGLAND - APR 19, 2015
Tap at Devil Craft Hamamatsucho, Tokyo. Hazy orange. Compact white head. Dank, leafy hops. Smells like tropical fruity flavours are trying to break through. Taste is citrussy, medium bitter, again it feels just short of pulling off something great. Frustrating but good.

mcberko (9223) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 8, 2015
On tap at Georgetown, pours a cloudy golden orange with a small white head. Nose is bland, with toasted crackery malt and very subtle hops. Flavour is not much of anything - just a clean body of toasted crackery malt. Not much point to this. Boring beer.
