3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft at SEA. Pours a hazy deep orange color with an OK white head. Not much of an aroma. Some hops, but pretty bland. Light hoppy taste, with some lemon zest in the background. Light, dry finish. OK pale ale and could definitely have more. But not bad.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Serving: from tap at Via Tribunali.
Aroma: lightly hoppy with piney overtones.
Appearance: average-sized, frothy, off-white, initial head with fully diminishing longevity and good lacing. Hazy, dark-yellow body.
Taste: lightly bitter initial flavor and finish with short duration.
Palate: light to medium bodied with watery texture and lively carbonation.
Overall: the reason that Mannyís is on tap everywhere is Seattle is because itís an excellent, all-purpose beer. Itís got a great, hoppy, piney aroma and taste without being overwhelmingly bitter. It goes down smoothly and is not too heavy on the alcohol.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap, pours a hazy amber color with a good head and good lacing. Smells of pine, citrus, and medium malt. Tastes of pine, citrus and caramel with a good hop presence for a pale ale. Mouthfeel is medium and creamy with good carbonation. Overall this is a Seattle area staple as far a beer goes. One of the best pale ales around in my opinion.

Smells of wet dog. Malt ovcerpower much of the hops for a pale. Copper colored, and a sweet, caramel taste. Only okay.

Growler from Uptown!!! Pours a darker pale color with a solid white head. Smell is hoppy and amazing. The taste is well balanced. I tried Lucille and didnít like it as much as this one! They donít bottle so you better find a tap somewhere!

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at some pub after watching the Seahawks crush the Cowboys. I think the pub was called The Owl or something? I donít recall because we pretty much ditched it right away and hiked up to Pike. Anyway, this was a hazy light amber number with an average white head. Aroma was a bit stinky/sweaty (but Iím betting it was the taplines in this place) with sweet fruity notes. Sweet caramel and vaguely defined fruity hops with medium bitterness. Just okay.

Tap at Sirenís, Port Townsend. Amber golden pour with a tight white head. The aroma is softly fruity and a little bit earthy. An unusual sort of tart red berry flavour. Definitely in the UK-ish style. A bit of light blackberry flavour and a little bit of soft bitterness. Okay - but not awesome.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Much cloudier pour than I expected with a thin white head. Modest lacing. Full floral hop aroma. Medium bodied, more forest, almost but not not quite an IPA. Lekker hop finish
