Pours a slightly hazy orange-gold color. Light aroma of citrusy hops and bready malt. Flavor is some light caramel malt with a moderate amount of citrus and grassy hops. Some pine hop bitterness in the finish. Medium mouthfeel and pleasant slightly dry finish. Hops are definitely noticeable, but not so strong as to be overpowering. A very balanced pale ale that would make a nice session beer.

A hazy reddish copper gold color with a small head and a lingering trail of headfoam as you power through the pint. Aroma and flavor are of fresh floral hops. Good not great, well balanced but with a little bit of a bitter bite at the finish

Cloudy amber w/minimal head. Lots of hoppy bitterness but not much else coming thru. Not a bad amber ale at all, but does not quite stack up to mac & jack’s amber that I had before it. Bartender at Duke’s Chowder House in Seattle advises me that Manny was formerly a partner in mac’s and split off.

Draught at O’Doherty’s, Spokane, WA. Hazy amber, minimal head. Some cardboard and caramel. Mid-sweet with clean mouthfeel and fairly light bodied. Crystal malt building a shallow and simplistic malt character, low-medium bitterness.

Not really a pale ale. Tastes like a slightly more flavorful Budweiser, nothing special, but slightly hoppier and slightly maltier.

Apparently a staple in Seattle, it is on tap at every happy hour in town. Quite quaffible indeed, with a creamy amber body that boasts floral and caramel notes above hints of bread and hops. Nothing special but gets the job done.

Tap at Elliot Oyster House in Seattle. Pours hazy amber with white bubbles. Floral/fruity aroma. Flavor is lightly fruity over mildly sweet caramel. Good taste. Mildly bitter finish. Floral enough to suggest ESB. Nice drink.

rather impressed with this one as a nice light breakfast beer. manny’s is a seattle staple and it is easy to see why. slightly peppery hops balance with maltiness and some citrus. well done pale
