Oakes (6979), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Jan 30, 2005 Golden, hazy appearance. Lightish, foresty hop aroma. Light, biscuity malts in both flavour and aroma. Moderate, restrainede example with an unfortunate hint of balsamic vinegar at the end. duff (5407), Sydney, Australia, Surrey, England Jun 18, 2004 Tap@The Virginia Inn, Seattle. This was pretty tasty. Fruity (lychee, orange), flower petals, dry hoppy citric finish, really nice. BückDich (4559), Boise, Idaho, USA Feb 7, 2008 Tap @ Front Door Boise: Pours a lightly misty amber color with an average head and lacing. The nose is spicy with floral cascades and some light sweet maltiness. The flavor is balanced, a nice clean dry pale ale with a full body and nice drinkability. Good! acrdz (4376), Boulder, Colorado, USA Apr 13, 2005 On draft at Ivar’s Acres of Clams on Pier 54. I was told that this is made by a former brewer from Mac and Jack’s. It has a cloudy, unfiletered orange and light brown appearance, with a pungent grassy hope nose. I don’t think that the 28 IBUs is correct anymore, because this beer was approaching the IPA range... more likely 40-60 IBUs. Had a nice cascade fruity grass flavor, gritty hop mouthfeel, much like a homebrew. Very sweet and full of pineapple and lemons. I’m was fairly impressed by this one. motelpogo (4124), Plzen, Czech Republic Dec 6, 2004 on tap at the virginia inn in seattle which is a great place. pretty flavourful apa. plenty of orange rind and a light leatherwood honey sweetness
