I have to say, this may be the best American Pale Ale I have ever had. It is very thick and filling, and also has a buttery aftertaste that is so so so good. I would definitely drink a lot more of this.

On tap @ Seattle Tap Room. Hazy orange/amber pour with a white head. Mostly just bready malt on the nose. Some toast, a hint of caramel, and some tea. A lot of toffee and and mild orange peel. Slightly grassy flavor is sweet malt water. A lot of bread and caramel with a hint of lemon. Orange peels, a bit of pine, and grass. Decent enough if you’re just sitting in an airport, but nothing to really seek out.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pint on tap - clear, light amber color, small-ish head with good lacing. Taste is resinous without being too hoppy, too dry of a mouthfeel at the end, although the beginning is just fine. Not rough, but not the greatest either -- drinkable, kind of enjoyable, lacks potential warmth, malt goodness. Tastes simpler than the somewhat malts I know they used.

A good beer. More flavor than most pale ales. Darker in color than you’d expect but a very good beer.

Somewhat on the browner side for an APA. Bright and fruity aromas and flavors that remind me of the more English side of the spectrum. A little too much booze on the mouthful.

Pretty nice. Not alot of hops, but tasty and sessionable. Thin foam head on top that turns into nice legs after some sipping. Good hop aroma, spicy bread and floral hits the nose and tongue. Aftertaste doesnt linger too long and its all pretty well balanced. Good PA for noobs or those who say they dont like hoppy beers.

A very nice, easy to drink Pale Ale. It’s really good, simple beer from start to finish. Nothing fancy, nothing special, no real flare, but it doesn’t always need to be complicated to be enjoyable. When you’re just looking for a refreshing beer on a warm day, Manny’s is the beer for you!
