A careful selection of Northwest hops, premium barley, and our unique yeast give this ale a rich and complex malty middle with a snappy hop finish. Crisp, clean and smooth with hints of citrus and fruit.

"Malts – 2 Row, Caramel, Carapils Hops – Summit, Cascade English Ale Yeast OG: 1.050 TG: 1.010 ABV 5.4% IBUs 38 Best By Date: 60 days from packaging" Draught at Runway Cafe in Georgetown on 06.16.14. A: Brown/yellow cloudy body. It has a ring of foam. S: Flower, bready sweetness, and citrus. T: Flower, bready sweetness, and citrus dominate. M: Crisp. O: This was the 3rd time having this and it has been different all 3 times. It has been strangely filtered the first couple of times and unfiltered later. I remember reading an article by Eater Seattle about how Georgetown Brewing makes frequent adjustments, so that explains the changes in this beer. This is a subtle pale ale. It’s not very complex, but it’s a good go-to beer.

On draft. Yellow orangish pour, with a white head. Bread, caramel, cirtus peel, mildly hoppy, and low bitterness. Ok, drinkable.

Pour in Seattle hazy brown with a little white head. I cant smell a thing off of this beer, malt maybe? Sugar? Very bland aroma. Perhaps pine?

I have to say, this may be the best American Pale Ale I have ever had. It is very thick and filling, and also has a buttery aftertaste that is so so so good. I would definitely drink a lot more of this.

On tap @ Seattle Tap Room. Hazy orange/amber pour with a white head. Mostly just bready malt on the nose. Some toast, a hint of caramel, and some tea. A lot of toffee and and mild orange peel. Slightly grassy flavor is sweet malt water. A lot of bread and caramel with a hint of lemon. Orange peels, a bit of pine, and grass. Decent enough if you’re just sitting in an airport, but nothing to really seek out.

Hazed orange pour with creamy white head and lace. Aroma is medium pale malt and light resiny hops. Flavor is light caramel malt with a decent bitter finish. Medium body with good carbonation ok beer

Pint on tap - clear, light amber color, small-ish head with good lacing. Taste is resinous without being too hoppy, too dry of a mouthfeel at the end, although the beginning is just fine. Not rough, but not the greatest either -- drinkable, kind of enjoyable, lacks potential warmth, malt goodness. Tastes simpler than the somewhat malts I know they used.

A good beer. More flavor than most pale ales. Darker in color than you’d expect but a very good beer.
