A careful selection of Northwest hops, premium barley, and our unique yeast give this ale a rich and complex malty middle with a snappy hop finish. Crisp, clean and smooth with hints of citrus and fruit.

Draft at SEA. Pours a hazy deep orange color with an OK white head. Not much of an aroma. Some hops, but pretty bland. Light hoppy taste, with some lemon zest in the background. Light, dry finish. OK pale ale and could definitely have more. But not bad.

On tap in Cactus in Seattle. Looked like a pale ale, perhaps deeper in colour than many pale ales in the region. Rather wishy washy unfortunately, lacking definition in malt or hops and just a bit bland. Perfectly drinkable and pleasant but felt like it has been left behind by more modern pale ale recipes.

Draft at The Irishmen in Everett Wa. A non description but we’ll made and tasty pale ale. The grain bill is savory with a slight toastiness. Slight piney hops. Not bad.

This is a well balanced pale ale. It is slightly darker and and has a stronger malty flavor than most Northwest pales. The hops are not overbearing, making this beer a good choice when sharing a pitcher with friends.

On tap. Pours a cloudy tan with a creamy sand head and good lacing. Aroma is of wood, straw, milk, and light citrus. Very similar flavors to the aroma accompany a particularly creamy mouth feel. Taste is slightly dull. A little funky on the aftertaste but overall pretty good.

Rating #1903 - 2015.09.24 - #CraftTakesSeattle Beer 1 - On tap at the Crab Pot, Seattle. Reddish amber pour with a bubbly, lasting white foam. Aroma is sweet lemony, mild grassiness.Taste is a blast of citrusy sweetness, tempered by a decent punch of Centennial bitterness. A decent APA.

Keg at Beer Zen’s backyard party. Rich Amber pour, biscuity malt, fruit and pine aroma. Relatively simple flavour of earthy malt with ample hopping, clean piney finish. Great for a day in the sun for something quenching with a little bite.

Agreed that this is rather a mediocre pale ale. Very grassy, with little of the hops character--either citrus or piney-spruce--that one might expect. Rather a disappointment.

On draft at space needle: smooth, bitter burst of flavor followed by subtle woody undertones. Very unique taste.

Mediocre pale ale. Mild and forgettable. Golden, light grassy hops, caramel malts. Tried with Win, Josh, and Al in Seattle, 2016.
