COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Yakima grown Czechoslovakian Saaz hops give this refreshing pilsner a spicy and earthy hop aroma. Malt character is accentuated by a German Lager Yeast that ferments dry but round and complex.

From tap at Taphouse Grill. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is toasted malty, light spiced and grassy. Bitter, grassy and dry. Straight forward. Mild bitter and crisp hoppy finish.

Clear yellow, thin white head. Aroma of apple and sweet malt. Taste is has a juice type sweetness, lightly acidic. Kind of boring, especially considering the beers I tried before this one, but that was my fault, not the beers.

Came to Seattle for a wedding and they served this and Manny’s Pale Ale at the reception. Well done. This was a very tasty pilsener. Light and crisp, but not so malty that it was still easy to go back and forth between the two beers. Really quite excellent.

Pretty malt heavy, but quite refreshing. A decent amount of hops make this overall a pretty flavorful beer for a rather mediocre style.

Draft at jules maes. Pours a crystal clear bright gold. Loose white head disappears right off. Mild toast and grass nose. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Toasty crackers and grass on the mid palate, with a mild finish. Very agreeable, extremely understated.

draft. filtered gold with a medium sized white head, average retention. mildly dirty yeast in the nose with medium-low hop aromatics and clean/sweet pils malt. medium-thin body; harsh malt edges; medium hop flavor and bitterness (cobwebs, dried orange rind), medium-low acid leaves it slightly flabby.

Tap: Pours a clear yellow color with a nice white head. The nose is snappy with some crisp hops and a light husky malt note. The flavor is lightly crisp and hoppy with a fruity and husky malt note. The finish is clean and brief but the sweetness sticks with you. Almost like it wasn’t fermented cold enough.

On tap at Taphouse. Pours a nearly clear yellow with some lacing. Weak smell of sugar and some fruitiness. Taste is slightly stronger, spicy hops, a bit of citrus, with a bitter aftertaste. Not impressed.

Spicy saaz nose that is really quite pleasant and floral. Lacking in the malt body after such a nice nose. Watery and bland. Disappointing.
