Can. Healthy medium-gold appearance. Aroma is overwhelmingly sweet, even honeyish, with just a touch of grain. This sweetness carries through to the sugar-candy flavour, which is generally missing the balancing qualities of grain and bitter hops. Not refreshing enough.

Pale golden pour. The aroma is lightly fruity with a kiss of grainy pale malt. A bit of berryish esters. Medium bodied with some distinct malty graininess. Pretty decent summer brew really.

I tried this beer on June 11, 2011 after purchasing from the Queen’s Quay LCBO outlet in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a palem gold colour with a small white cap. The aroma was skunky malt and vomit. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was grainy malt, and acidic hops...not enjoyable at all.

Originally rated July 2008. Purchased at the LCBO, in a 473ml can. Says brewed for Midland Beer Works by Hockley Valley Brewing Co. Pours a clear golden colour with a white head that disappears fast enough and leaves a few spots on the glass. The nose is pretty decent, with some grain and bread. I quite like the aromas for such a swill. The taste is mild, with a mix of grain malts and corn (but not overpowering). Not much hop found in this one, and mouthfeel is smooth and creamy. Very nice ale, to introduce to people who just like Molson Canadian and other swills like it.

500ml can thanks to Bruno.
Appearance : Clear pale yellow with a med head that goes completely away quite fast. No lacing.
Aroma : Malt, honey, adjunct. Light herbal hops. Rice.
Taste : Malt with light citrusy hops. Finish has notes of honey and malt. Light floral hops.
Overall : Nothing really interesting. I had to at least give it a shot.

Got this in a generous trade with korguy123 . Can into a standard pint glass. Pours a pale gold with little head and no lacing. Nose is pale malts, floral and grain. Taste is grain, breadiness and malt with not much distinctive flavor. Mouthfeel is thin and a bit slick. Almost no carbonation is felt or observed. Not the worst beer I have ever had but not something I would seek out again.
