Weinig schuim. Ruikt niet zoveel. Iets zoetzuur. Smaakt een beetje bitter. Niets bijzonders.

330ml bottle. Clear dark golden color. Medium size, thick white head, stays. Sour, sweet, malty, Belgian yeast, apples in aroma. Belgian yeast, rose pepper, spicy hops, grainy in taste. Spicy rose pepper in aftertaste. Crisp mouthfeel. Says more saison to me than Blonde.

330ml bottle - thanks Marduk!
Sweet aroma, belgian, hint of the yeast, fruity and a bit sharp. Gold, tight head, quite persistent. Slightly sticky palate, tacky, a bit dirty. Belgian yeast dominates the taste. Dirty. Palate fullish, a bit sticky. Some papery dry and bitter hops. Nah, messy belgian blond.

suurjuust (1956) - ESTONIA - OCT 5, 2015
Clear golden beer, medium white head. Nose is spicy and yeasty with warm and sweet malt notes. Flavor is dominated by the yeasty-metallic sweetness. Finish is better, with toasty malt notes and sweentess, spice, hops, lingering dry notes. Toastiness is nice, but I’m not a fan of the yeast and metal concotion in there.

Bottle (from Stockmann, Tallinn). Pours clear golden with whiteish head. The small head stays for some moments. Aroma is fresh fruits, belgian yeast, sweetness. Flavor is sweet, sour, citrus, fresh fruits, belgian yeast. Finish has some dry bitterness. It feels rather dead, which is typical for filtered beer. Overall: just some rather random belgian ale, leffe blonde is similar, but a lot better.

Not a briliant blonde beer, but for this price a really decent one! Very drinkable, perfect for cheap parties;)

On tap @ 4 Jaargetijden, Epen. Clear golden color. Uneven white head with good lacing. Aroma’s of caramel malts, grainish, fruity. Retronasal it’s sweetish, malty, fruity. Flavor of grains/malts, light bitterness, some herbs. Medium bodied. Finishes with some caramel and a delicate bitterness. Good for the (unexciting) style.
