Thure (132), Aalborg, Denmark Jul 15, 2007 Colour is dark brown with a thin whit, slightly tanned head. Bit of friut spice and maltyness to the aroma. Flavor is sweet with phenols and esters. The body is full with lots of small sparkels. The finish is somewhat dry but leaves the impression of the full body. Overall a nice example of the style. BJCP - 18B. Hunsell (398), Amsterdam, Netherlands Oct 19, 2004 Beautiful deep red beer with beige head, aroma with cherries and berries. The flavor is quite sweet, turning sweeter during the drink, starting with cherries and (cran?)berries, ending caramelly. Quite nice, not very complex but easy drinkable and pleasant. Brown beer with a yellow head.
Sweet malt, full taste. Some fruit, sour cherries, figs. A little sourness and bitterness in the finish. jbrus (4178), Delft, Netherlands Dec 17, 2001 Updated: Apr 24, 2005On tap at the brewery Quite a difference from the bottle. So much more refreshing.
