(Bottled) Clear, dark reddish amber color with a smallish, white and foamy, lacy head. Same aroma as in the gerardus Blond, but with some added caramel. Toffee-malty, caramely flavor with some acidity and roastiness. Medium-bodied, quite foamy-carbonated palate. Quite easy and boring dubbel, but at least it’s not spoiled with excess sugar. Hides the ABV well.

Clear darker amber with slightly colored foam head, lacing to glass. Bit too sweet but also caramel and hop. Positively surprised. (Velp 201103)

33 cl bottle. Brown red colour, minimal head. Aromas of sweet, hutjes caramel. Taste is sweet, burned malts and some liqourice. Finish is short. Not too special

Bottle. Clear, light brown colour with a tanned head that fades really quickly. Faint spicy and yeasty aroma. Flavour is light, slight hints of cookies detected. Nothing extraordinary going on here, below average beer in my opinion.

Fris zoet aroma, mango, niet heel sterk. Smaak met weinig body, karamel met weer wat zuur. Blijft niet lang hangen, maar een beter dan de blonde versie. Kraag zakt snel in.

Bottled. Dark amber body with a medium size light tan head. Mainly malt in the aroma, sweet, caramel, dark fruit, hints of plum and something else that I couldn’t associate to anything. Taste is watery and finish is sweet.

Bottle, 300 ml. minimal head that doesn’t last long,red brown color, very bitter, medium body, lively, bitter, long finish, fizzy,

Pours copper with a beige head. Aroma is roasted caramel, dried fruit and light yeast. Flavour is roasted caramel, dry notes, dried fruit and light yeast.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Brown coloured brew with an well balanced fruity sweet taste and hints of caramel.
