Jun 12, 2009 (bottle - 330 ml) Clear gold color with a fizzy white head. Aroma is lightly skunky with some sweetness and dry grass. Flavor is bitter and cloying at the beginning with a light sweet note. Middle is dry grass and some stale hops. Finishes bitter and very watery.

May 18, 2009 Yes there is alittle skunk in the aroma, but some other fine lagers have the same. Typical lager flavor. Yes it would be better on a hot day. Decent price for BOTW. Glad I tried it.

Jan 10, 2009 Brewed in Germany.... Pours a straw yellow color with zero head. Aroma of mild skunk, malts, and a hint of hops. Taste is kind of grassy with some lite bitterness at the finish. The mouthfeel is almost always the same with pale lagers.....boring. Don’t waste your time looking for this one. But i have to say the name on the bottle is cool.

Taste is very solid pale lager from Europe with a pleasant grassy flavor, sweet malts countered by a dry bitter finish. Overall a good session beer. A decent alternative to US macros.

Sep 12, 2008 12 ounce bottle purchased at the Davis Food Co-Op. Unfortunately, the bottle is green. Initial aroma is a on of skunky DMS, thanks to the bottle. Light doughy malt aroma is also present along with a little herbal hoppiness. Not terrifically aromatic. Transparent yellow body with small, white head that is quickly dissipating. Light biscuit malty, grainy flavors present to start before this finishes with a bit of herbal, lightly bitter hops. This is pretty flavorless shit, if you ask me. Pretty fucking retarded.

Sep 3, 2008 Yellow straw color with a modest white head. Noble to skunky hops are heavy in the aroma when poured and fade away revealing buttery malt. Some pale malt in the start, but lead to stale floor malt and heavy grain bread. Very much like many a euro (typically eastern bloc) lager. Too thick and heavy in feel.
