3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 jonas (4594) - Garching b. München, - SEP 3, 2010
Bottle, thanks pivnizub. Orange amber, lively carbonation, big fluffy off-white head. Fruity malt aroma, sweet pears, light caramel, metallic and aromatic hops, apples stay on the tongue. Chewy body, sparkly mouthfeel. subtle and quite moreish. I would put it into the vienna style in a blind tasting.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Maria (8585) - Thisted, DENMARK - JUL 13, 2011
It’s dark golden with a creamy, lasting head. The aroma has notes of malt, flower and bread. The flavour has a light sweetness and the same notes as the aroma, but sadly also a very light sourness, that should not be there, thus the points.

Bottle: Clear, deep golden to copper coloured, small to medium-sized off-white head, that quite quickly collapses; light to moderate sweetish-malty nose (including the faintest traces of toasted malt), balanced by a touch of herbal hops; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, soft and medium bodied; slightly lingering bisquity finish with a herbal bitterness in the very end. Well quaffable session beer.......

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 MoritzF (7402) - Bochum, GERMANY - AUG 4, 2007
(100cl swing top bottle, as "Germanentrunk") Clear, amber colour with a mid-sized foamy white head. Sweet malty, slightly herbal hoppy nose with a touch of barnyardy spice. Sweetish flavour, light to medium body, very soft on carbon. Sweet malty, slightly bready taste with a whiff of toasted malt in the background; sweetish malty finish with a very low level of hoppy bitterness. Pretty average and a tad too sweet for my taste.
