Bottle 50cl, a clear golden beer with low head. Nose is on barley sugar and barley grain. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel like with relative hops bitterness, body is wattery but the beer is correct, in the average.

It poured a copper color. The aroma was watery and grainy. The taste was downright terrible. Yuck!

UPDATED: FEB 2, 2015 From TJ’s on Lincoln. Body is not a slippery as other N/A beers. Slightly crisp for a N/A beer but has that weird grainy smell and flavor. Serving: Bottle

This is just sort of a wacky looking beer, the color is super pale and the head is absolutely gigantic and leaves a bunch of lace. The aroma is mostly cornflakes, I caught a great big bouquet of herbal hops when I cracked the bottle open, unfortunately this didn’t materialize as well in the glass. The flavor is corn-flake like, but not nearly as bad as the last two beers I rated, There is a fair amount of good herbal hops here. There are enough hops here to make me think Classic German Pils..... Well Almost. The sweetness sure gets in the way of a lot of the crispness and hoppiness of this beer. I’d love to try some sort of "full strength" version of this beer. The mouthfeel is lively and while somewhat thin this doesn’t seem as watery as many NA beers I’ve tried.

Horrible beverage, tastes like cornflakes like so many low-alcohol beers do.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
11.2 oz brown bottle. Brewed by Eichbaum.Best by 14. 02. 2011. I have only had BITburger Drive as far as NAs go.
It pours a pale gold with carbonation bubble racing to the top and a white head that leaves a bit of lacing. It looks alright at least.
THe smell is a bit skunky wiht mostly a syrupy malt note and a slight touch of hops.
The taste isn’t bad, it is graham-cracker-y, with a malt forward taste and a slight hop bitterness. Judging by the horror stories surrounding NA beers and the fact that BITburger Drive was atrocious, this might be one of the best NAs out there.
It was only a buck, so I guess if for some reason I need it, this is what I would grab.

Bottle. off-lager appearance, more rosy. Nose of sour-funk corn. Grainy and heavy lager sweet. Touch of bittering is ok but not wanting to taste this again.
