Cask, gravity, at 34th Bedford Real Ale and Cider Festival ’11. Amber gold. Sweet malt and honeycomb aroma. Sweet malty taste, a bit soapy, with a sharp bitter finish. Decent enough, but I didn’t get any fruit aroma or taste.

Cask at Cloisters. A dark golden ale with a decent white head. Aroma of sweet cherry, apple and barley. Flavours again of cherry, barley and some nice chewy caramel. Nice dry finish. OK.
