Thanks to kappeldave123 for this beer at Zinisters tasting. It was nice being the first USA’ers to rate this beer. Very black and dark with a small head. Nose of malt and medicine. Taste is of a full body, chewy, strong burnt malts, sticky. Different but nice.
Adenila (687), Denmark
Oct 10, 2008 Dark brown with a light brown head. Sweetmalty aroma with some toasted and roasty notes, cooked vegetables and syrup. Abit too harsh bitterness in the flavor while the sweetness works. Its even abit creamy.

Sep 27, 2008 Bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Tastes mild-malty. Maltiness becomes stronger, smoky finish. Aftertaste like velvet. Good beer!

Sep 2, 2008 Bottle. Dark brown colour with a beige head. Sweet malty aroma. Sweet, roasted malty flavour with hints of coffee. Slighly dry and bitter finish. Medium bodied, smooth and easydrinking beer. I enjoyed it. Nothing special, but still a quite nice brew.

Aug 21, 2008 Bottle courtesy of fonefan pours clear reddish brown with thin tan head. Aroma is sweet toffee malt and bread. First taste is bread and sweet malt with a sweet finish. This is a really smooth beer with not much carbonation which makes it easy to drink.

Jul 26, 2008 Dark brown colour with beige creamy head.Aroma of caramel and munchnermalt some note of brown bread and coffee,maybe a littel metallic butmild and tasty.
