3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Adenila (1543) - DENMARK - OCT 10, 2008
Dark brown with a light brown head. Sweetmalty aroma with some toasted and roasty notes, cooked vegetables and syrup. Abit too harsh bitterness in the flavor while the sweetness works. Its even abit creamy.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Zinister (1423) - Houston, Texas, USA - MAY 20, 2008
Thanks to kappeldave123 for this beer. Dark caramel and toasted nut color with a thin brown head. Nose was dead on snack pack chocolate pudding (thanks Kagg!) with bready malts. Flavor of molasses and chocolate with a smooth soft finish.

Thanks to kappeldave123 for this beer at Zinisters tasting. It was nice being the first USA’ers to rate this beer. Very black and dark with a small head. Nose of malt and medicine. Taste is of a full body, chewy, strong burnt malts, sticky. Different but nice.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 MaltOMeal (1087) - Land of Sugar, Texas, USA - MAY 13, 2008
UPDATED: JUN 7, 2008 bottle thanks to KAggie and zinister. First American to rate this. Yes! This poured dark brown with a cola-like texture. Smell was roasted malt, but had some funkiness to it that I couldn’t put a description to. Taste was of roasted malt and molasses. Mouthfeel was medium-to-thin with a dry finish. Interesting. Definitely different.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Archibaldo de la Cruz (1067) - FINLAND - SEP 2, 2008
Bottle. Dark brown colour with a beige head. Sweet malty aroma. Sweet, roasted malty flavour with hints of coffee. Slighly dry and bitter finish. Medium bodied, smooth and easydrinking beer. I enjoyed it. Nothing special, but still a quite nice brew.

Some lasting head, brown. Quite roasted and sticky nose almost bacon smoke. Semifull and medium length. Taste is caramel. Bacon
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 scotty (959) - SCOTLAND - APR 29, 2006
Nice mid-tawny colour. The good off white head looked as if it would hang around for a while, but after my first swig it seemed to give up and died very quickly! The nose is quite rich and malty with more than a hint of spice, there are some nice floral hops at the back ...a big plus point. A fairly full bodied brew with a good malt presence, but well balanced by a distinctive hoppy bitterness, a crackin’ beer. This was bought by my wife (who constantly moans about the amount of beer I drink) at one of those continental markets that appear from time to time in a town near you!!!
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 kuphish (378) - Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA - NOV 22, 2011
On draft at Straßenbahn. Clear, brown body with a rocky, off-white head. Lasting and lacy. Malt comes through big in the nose - big black sun tea presence. Some faint raisin notes. Bigger raisin in the flavor, actually all I can taste, but not in a bad way. Light-medium body. Malt forward with light, but balancing bittering hops. Avoids being cloying. Raisin lingers a bit with exhalation. Really quite like this beer!
