UPDATED: DEC 20, 2013 Bottle shared by Cuso, many thanks. Aroma strong caramel, dark honey, raisin. sweet . Clear brown colour. Taste really sweet caramel, not too much flavour. Nuts. Quite single-dimensional and straightforward. Finish is warm caramel alcohol. Simple, strong, but no objections. 7 3 6 3 11

Dark brown body, white head. Arom ahas raisins, dark fruits, chocolate, butter. Bit on the porter side. Flavour has nice chocolate, nutty butter. Nice full mouthfeel. Really nice bock, bit too sweet for as they tend to be.

Flip-top 50cl bottle from Bierland, pours deep dark brown with a beige head, malty nose with hints of roasted prune and milk chocolate, rich bodied with burnt caramel, roast malt, touches of treacle and chocolate, a bitter hop edge to balance the demerara sweetness, and a bit of dark dried fruit. Very nice.

50cl Bottle from a kiosk in Friedrichshain, Berlin. Clear deep amber colour, off-white head. Aroma of toffee, light fudge, light toast and a little fruity. Flavour is sweet, toffee, light bitter, light floral, but as with their Original Festbier also quite a nasty metallic finish. Medium-bodied.
