Pours ruby / copper
Sweet malty / caramel aromas.
Taste is about the same. Roasted and light caramel malts. I found it to be a little spicy with cinnamon and herbal and hoppy.
Possibly some dark fruits.

Thanks to kappeldave123 for this bottle at Zinisters tasting. Clear brown with no head. Malty, very sweet nose. Taste is sweet, sticky and bit alcoholic. Not a bad beer for a tasting but I could not drink an entire bottle of this.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: MAY 14, 2008 bottle thanks to KAggie and zinister. First American to rate this. Pours brown with a thin white head. The smell of this was sweet, like root beer with alcohol. Taste was malt and brown sugar. Mouthfeel was medium with some carbonation and slight alcohol noticeable. Not bad.

Courtesy of Papsoe. Dark amber with a huge, nice and creamy head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel and light straw. The flavour has a smooth, delicious (not cloying) sweetness, notes of caramel, malt and a light citrussy hop note.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Aroma hoppy. Starts very mild. Should be a little bit stronger and maltier. Not more than an average bock!
