Bottle. Copper colour with a beige head. Sweet and malty nose. Tastes sweet, malty and slightly bitter with notes of fruits. Medium bodied and soft carbonation. Could be a little bit stronger in taste but on overall it was quite good.

Chris_os GBBF Shindig August 08. Sweet and strong with a lingering bitterness. Like a strong dark tea with sugar.

Bottle. A clear, copper beer with a beige head. Sweetish, slightly fruity nose with cooked vegetables playing a too big part. Caramel-sweet and grainy, rather fruity flavor with the vegetables being too evident here too. Quite thin body for a bock. Cooked vegetables, sweet maltyness and some hops in the finish, but low on bitterness. Ok for a bock though. A drinkable, but not very well-crafted bock. (080731)

A Mes rate: Bottle at Chris Os Pre GBBF Tasting
Decent dark amber colour with a surprisingly white head. A straight forward fruity bock with a lot of caramel. Nice burnt toast notes and a fiarly lengthy bitter finish. Not bad.

Bottled. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma and flavour is malty and hoppy with some hints of caramel and mild floweryness. Pleasant and refreshing, quite easy to drink bock.

Bottle at Chris_o Pre GBBF Shindig 08. Clear attractive amber colour. Lasting something, not sure what my notes say. Toasty aroma. It’s a little thin in mouth. It’s fine, if a little dull maybe.

Bottle. Huge creamy white head that mostly lasted. Good display of lacework. Amber color. Aroma of dusty grain, rye bread, toasted malt, flowers and hint of chocolate and caramel. Medium bodied with an average carbonation. Moderated sweet flavor. Lingering bread like toasted malty finish.

50cl bottle. Pours ruby / copper Sweet malty / caramel aromas. Taste is about the same. Roasted and light caramel malts. I found it to be a little spicy with cinnamon and herbal and hoppy. Possibly some dark fruits.
