3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 EithCubes (3340) - GERMANY - FEB 2, 2012
Swing-top by 11.08.12. Nose is very sweet malt, citrus and a touch of bread. Rich burnished golden with a sudsy white head. Taste is bitter with light sweetness, a pretty decent balance, actually, lots of bread and a very good malt smack. Crisp, full body, strata of malt and dense! Restrained grass. A good one!
1.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20 Bierkrug (1666) - Idar-Oberstein (In East Africa), Rhineland-Palatinate, GERMANY - JAN 14, 2012
500 ml flip-top bottle from Bottleman with much thanks. Pours the normal Pils look with a soft white head. Aroma is good with lots of hops and floral notes. Taste well starts off nice like a good Pils but then the aftertaste is pure soap. Nearly undrinkable. Blah.

Nice and well balanced. The kind of beer you could drink on a hot summerday when you are just thirsty. Or in large amounts without getting bored

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Koelschtrinker (7060) - Köln (Cologne), North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - JUN 17, 2011
