Flip-top bottle: Slightly hazy; amber coloured, bigger fluffy off-white head; barnyardy, rural, slightly sourish nose with a touch of hops; solid sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; first sweet, later drier, lingering bitter finish. A stronger version of a typical franconian Landbier......

I do not know if this is the same, but the color suggests it - at the brewery it’s called Oberreichenbacher Rotbier. From bottle at the brewpub. It’s beautiful, orange-red with a creamy, white head, and the aroma has notes of malt, candy-sugar and a little vegetables. The flavour is moderately sweet with notes of mal, syrup, and the finish is slightly dry with notes of caramel.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of fonefan. Clear, amber golden with a white head. Malty aroma with a whiff of caramel. Medium-bodied with a solid and lightly sweet malt base, a whiff of nuts and some balancing bittering hops. 050807

Bottle. Clear amber color with a average frothy good lacing mostly lasting off-white head. Aroma is light malty, toasted, caramel. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a short to average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft.

(bottle) Hazy, amber coloured hue with yeast floaties swimming around and a thick foamy white head. Dusty, light-sweet toast-malty nose with a touch of barnyard, light sourish fruity notes and a whiff of hops. Light-bitter and a bit sourish flavour, medium bodied, pleasant carbonation. Malty, slightly toasty taste with a sourish fruitiness in the background; dry, balanced malty and hop-bitter finish. Quaffable brew with rural character.
