12oz bottle 12/6/14 (Memphis)-Pours red with a nice head. Aroma of caramel, toffee, and malt. Taste of the same. This medium bodied brew had a lot of the flavors coming across really well. A nice tasting brew.

Clear, deep copper pour with a two finger creamy off white head. Aroma is sweet caramel, light woody notes, toast, bread crust, light tree fruit notes, a hint of leather, and light citrus, spicy and floral hops. Flavor is toasty wood up front, some caramel, light toffee, bread crust, light lactose, light nutty notes, soft water, faint leather and light spicy, herbal and citrus hops. Light to medium body, soft, creamy entry, light, sharp carbonation drier finish. Pretty good, it has an interesting, well fitting mouthfeel.

Growler from the brewery. Shout out to Andrew! Pours hazy copper with a fizzy white head. Tastes roasted, like burnt toast with some malty caramel. Light/medium body and low carbonation. Smells nutty, malty, and very roasted.

Draft was flat with no legs. Deepest red I've seen in an amber. Really cool. I think the flavor was lacking, maybe an old keg??

2013 Tap, Bosco’s (boscosbeer.com) in Germantown, TN. Aroma was pleasant enough, surprised to see negative reviews below. Caramel malts predominate the nose. Appears very red (not unnaturally so, as if some artificial coloring has been used) with little to no head. Flavor is malty, sweet, even estery. No noticeable hops in the nose or flavor. Really enjoyed this with my burger and fries.

On tap on Beale street. Evidently it’s brewed only for the local bars...they can keep it. Stable, persistent head, caramel color. Weird beer, kind of offensive aroma. Strong caramel taste, not much else. Skip it.

Clear golden color, off-white head. Sweet, malty scent. Sweet, apple taste. Medium thin mouthfeel, medium low bitterness.
