Growler from the brewery. Shout out to Andrew! Pours hazy copper with a fizzy white head. Tastes roasted, like burnt toast with some malty caramel. Light/medium body and low carbonation. Smells nutty, malty, and very roasted.

Growler from brewery. Pours somewhat hazy amber with a light red tint. Aroma is cookie and caramel malts, berries, and light floral notes. Flavor is dry malts, light toast, light hops, and faint berry notes; dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

Draft was flat with no legs. Deepest red I've seen in an amber. Really cool. I think the flavor was lacking, maybe an old keg??

2013 Tap, Boscoís (boscosbeer.com) in Germantown, TN. Aroma was pleasant enough, surprised to see negative reviews below. Caramel malts predominate the nose. Appears very red (not unnaturally so, as if some artificial coloring has been used) with little to no head. Flavor is malty, sweet, even estery. No noticeable hops in the nose or flavor. Really enjoyed this with my burger and fries.

On tap on Beale street. Evidently itís brewed only for the local bars...they can keep it. Stable, persistent head, caramel color. Weird beer, kind of offensive aroma. Strong caramel taste, not much else. Skip it.

Clear golden color, off-white head. Sweet, malty scent. Sweet, apple taste. Medium thin mouthfeel, medium low bitterness.

UPDATED: FEB 28, 2013 On tap at Mellow mushroom. Appearance of clear red, small head. Aroma isnít pleasant. Donít know what to describe in it. It wasnít a fresh smell. Taste isnít really crisp. I donít think That itís a clear character. I like Ghost river, but not this beer. Iíll give it another try to see if I got a bad one. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft in Memphis. Nice big head on this, um ... red beer. Very mellow drinker. Not much of a distinct character. Just a little mild bitterness. Made for the masses. (#4049, 12/18/2010)

Clear light orange-red, just off white foam. Aroma is grainy, husky, caramel. Taste is sweeter and lacking the graininess of the aroma, apples, caramel, maybe even a bit of light roastiness.
