On tap on Beale street. Evidently it’s brewed only for the local bars...they can keep it. Stable, persistent head, caramel color. Weird beer, kind of offensive aroma. Strong caramel taste, not much else. Skip it.

Clear golden color, off-white head. Sweet, malty scent. Sweet, apple taste. Medium thin mouthfeel, medium low bitterness.

UPDATED: FEB 28, 2013 On tap at Mellow mushroom. Appearance of clear red, small head. Aroma isn’t pleasant. Don’t know what to describe in it. It wasn’t a fresh smell. Taste isn’t really crisp. I don’t think That it’s a clear character. I like Ghost river, but not this beer. I’ll give it another try to see if I got a bad one. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft in Memphis. Nice big head on this, um ... red beer. Very mellow drinker. Not much of a distinct character. Just a little mild bitterness. Made for the masses. (#4049, 12/18/2010)

Clear light orange-red, just off white foam. Aroma is grainy, husky, caramel. Taste is sweeter and lacking the graininess of the aroma, apples, caramel, maybe even a bit of light roastiness.
