Brewed with the finest two-row malted barley and German variety hops, Ghost River Golden’s mellow, refreshing character is accentuated by Memphis’ soft water. Munich and caramel malts give this beer enough sweetness to balance the crisp, dry finish.

Had on tap in Memphis. Beer was a medium gold and slightly hazy with not much in the way of a head. Faint grainy aroma with some wet grass and hay. The flavor had plenty of bread and hay much like a Euro lager. There is definitely a soft wheat characteristic which does help drinkability. Light bitterness. Overall, a pretty forgetable beer. Drinkability is extremely high but flavors are somewhat lacking. Not offensive but not impressive either.

Nice little surprise on tap at Rendevous in Memphis. Great wheaty aroma and extremely smooth on the palate. The wheat flavor is strong and very enjoyable.

Not really sure what this was other than the generic term "beer". It smelled like beer but nothing that would give me any foreshadowing as to what it might taste like. The appearance was a little off-setting. I was expecting a clear golden color, but what I got was golden with Sea Monkeys in it. I wasn’t expecting an unfiltered beer and maybe it wasn’t meant to be. I didn’t think the beer was that old. The taste wasn’t offensive, just average. It was also surprisingly filling, which made it more difficult to drink with food. I would try others by this brewery but not this again.

poured from tap into a pint glass. pours a solid gold color with no real head. a bit aromatically challenged with some aromas of malts and a touch of grains. light bodied with some flavors of malts. Lacking some flavor, but the feel is nice. a pretty forgettable beer in all honest

Bottled. Pours clear gold with a nice white head.....everything was downhill from there. Nose of butter.....lots of butter. Flavor is buttered corn. Not a lot else going on, just a lot of diactyl.

Draft at GABF, new State! Pours a mostly clear deep gold, minimal fluffy head. Nose is butterscotch and a floral iced tea note. On tasting, the iced tea is mostly what I get and then some light buttery notes in the background. Should be cleaner and have more hop pop to it, really. The iced tea is distracting. Okay.

On tap @ B. B. King’s Blues Club on Beale Street, Memphis. First of all, I am in heaven - B.B. King’s on Beale Street - home of the Blues! But my review will be fair. True clear light golden pour with a frothy white head and pretty good amount of lacing. Lightly sweet and very lightly floral hopped aroma. Taste is fairly light and refreshing, lightly caramel sweet and light citrus and floral hops bitter. Some bitter linger and dry finish. This was nice on a very warm afternoon. And the blues played...
