Cask-conditioned at the Culm Valley Inn, Culmstock, Devon 10/04/10. Chestnut coloured with a decent. off-white head. Sweet, fruity aroma with some chocolate and a hint of roastiness. Flavour was much the same, with red fruit, caramel and chocolate sweetness, and a dry finish. Ok.

Cask. Clear yellow with basically no head. Tart appley aroma. Light body, flat, has a tart fruitiness - almost cider-like. Finishes dry. An odd beer. 160110
