It’s warm golden with a creamy, white head. The aroma has notes of malt, bread and initially a little metal. The flavor has a light sweetness and notes of malt, bread, flower and the finish is slightly hoppy bitter.

Bottle from Quack-Duck, many thanks. Golden colour with medium white head. Aroma of grain, some vegetables. Taste, grain, malty hints, bittersweet finish. Not bad.

Bottle 50cl from Quack-Duck thanks, a clear yellow beer with low head. Nose is typically hopy and vegetable like. A sweet beer with toasted malt notes and vegetable body, grassy hops, finish is hopy with heavy carbonation.

Recht frischer und hopfiger Geruch, der ein durststillendes Bier verheißen läßt. Spritzig-hopfiger Start mit moderater Herbe. Im Mittel malziger. Gleichzeitig werden würzige Töne angeschlagen, welche ausgeglichen und harmonisch auf das Geschmacksbild einwirken. Angenehm bitter ausklingend. Thanks to Quack-Duck for this bottle. Looks good, beer in the glass the same. Quite zippy, nice head. Starts mild, spicy, a bit grasy, hoppy and a bit metallically in the background. Finish more malty, still spicy. Well balanced, quite drinkable. Good beer!

Clear light to medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, grain, hay, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is light medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20091002]

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear yellow with a white head. Sweet and lightly oxidized malty nose. Medium body, sweet candy-like malts with a lightly hoppy finish. Straight. 021009

Bottle (a Bodensee-bottle!): Golden, visible carbonation, stable - almost creamy - off-white head; sweet grainy-strawy nose; moderate sweet-bitter flavour; short grainy-juicy finish with a light bitterness. A very pleasant Helles............

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a short foamy white head. Sweet bready malty aroma with spicy hops in the background. Sweet flavour, medium to light body with a soft carbonation. Slightly bready malt-character with traces of cara-malt; sweet and faint bitter finish, malt accented with just traces of herbal hops. Unspectacular Spezial but pleasant to drink (10.VII.09).

bottle from Bierzwerg. Clear golden colour, mid-sized white head. Malty nose with grainy hints. Rather light-bodied for a Spezial. Shy but pleasant malty base with very shy hints of roasted malt and caramel. Some underlying bitter hops are also present, especially in the hoppy finish.
