Een bruin ongefilterd bier 7° sterk van hoge gisting met nagisting op fles. Er is weer een flinke mengeling aan hoppen gebruikt: een kuitenbijter voor in de donkere dagen. www.muurken.be

Pours clear, but very dark amberbrown . OK white foam but the big bubbles make is fast fading. Smell is bit of cinnamon , as well as other spices . Very unintense though ! Taste is very light , bit bitter , some earthy / caramel notes . No real spicyness - contradictional to the scent. Mouthfeel is extremely thin , with too much carbonation. A less subtile description could very well be sparkling water, with a touch of fades dark malts and a mild bitterness ... Way to weak for me .. especially given the fact this is 7 % , and I had more intense beers of 0,5 % ...

Dark brown with some red tones. Nice creamy top, yellow-brown. Not very complex but a pleasant taste with roasted malts, burnt caramel, fresh water, spices, liquorice. Medium finish with some dry wood coming in, autumn leaves.
