Bottle @home. Pours clear golden with a big creamy, adhesive white foam. Aroma is yeasty and hops. Taste hoppy, herbs with a light to medium bitterness. Bitter aftertaste. Easy drinkable, nice.

Courtesy & thx! to Kraddel. 2012 Vintage (bottled on 27/03/2012) 33 cl. bottle split by 4. Pours a golden, touch orange. Nose is overly oxidized, honey, weird cardboard cornflakes, sweet. Taste is oxidation, bitter spices, touch grains, metallic, overtly oxidized, old hay. Carbonation is way too high. Still good for more than a year but already feels like a mediocre Belgian Strong Ale way past its selling point.

Bottle Pours clear blonde , no foam Smells chemical soapy sweetness . Taste is sweet , bit hops , bit perfumed . Ok , way less worse than the smell makes you fear ... Ok carbonation . Has some aspects of a cheap pilsner ..

Light blond, bubbly head, moderately stable. Yeasty aroma, hints of hops. Quite bitter taste, some spices coming through. Quite full body, oily texture. Leaves a long lasting bitter aftertaste.

33cl bottle. Giesbaargs Muurken Blond. APPEARANCE: golden colored beer, large but unstable white head. NOSE: yeast, hops, some weird kind of water though... TASTE: I get the idea of the beer, though there is need for quite some ’fine tuning’. Too bitter and too much coriander. But I think this can get better with some adjustments in the recipe!

BlackHaddock (3183) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAY 31, 2013
33cl bottle: poured into a Duvel glass during a random beer tasting evening (at home) on 30 May 2013. Good golden look, no sediment left the bottle, deep white foaming head on top. Yeast and spicy hop notes in the nose. Taste was the same with hints of citrus bitterness to make the beer sharper and crisper than the aroma suggested. A good example of a Belgian blond.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, yeast, over ripe fruits, and citrusy fruits, leading to a dry finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.
