(bottle, 6.0% abv) Hazy, orange-golden colour with a loose and off-white foamy head. Yeasty, slightly worty and a tad unripe malty aroma with bready notes, caramel and a whiff of hay-like hops. Sweet and delicately bitter flavour, rather light bodied with a tame carbonation. Yeasty and a bit green malt character with notes of caramel, bready elements and a touch of grassy hops; sweet malty and slightly hop bitter finish with caramel and a tinge of grass and hay. Not perfectly rounded but drinkable. 16.IX.15

Where and how: Bottle 500ml
Aroma: soft with very nice malty feel to it. Very pleasant set up. Clean. Solid Marzen nose. 8-
Appearance :
Top: be aware - gashing, long lasting tanned top, lace and rings on glass.
Base: cloudy amber gold.
Palate : medium bodied, medium lighter carbonation.
Taste: mellow malts with noted alcohol dryness on top. Nice texture but beyond that felt rather ordinary.
other notes aroma promised much more.

May ’15. On tap at the brewpub. It poured hazy orange body with medium sized head. Fine fruity and caramel aroma. Lightly sweet caramel, biscuit and bread malt flavor balanced with a bit of herbal hops. Medium body. Long, caramel finish. Quite pleasant semi-dark beer.

Draught Good dense head over well-carbonated amber-orange beer. Caramel, not much more at first, rainwater. Caramel, breadcrust (not Maillard), leafy - even toffee, maybe just a hint at diacetyl. Smooth, creamy texture, better than light bodied. Decent, if sweetish Märzen.

Bottled 500ml. -from Biervana Munich. Straight from the bottle. Sweetish malty, bready and quite bitter hoppy herbal taste with dry bitter finish. Not bad, easy-drinkable. 5.7%ABV

Euro2-Flasche: Deep golden to light amber coloured, stable off-white foamy layer; fruity-caramelly nose with mild "greenish" (amateurish) traces; moderate sweetish flavour, bittering hops barely detectable, relatively light bodied and a bit fizzy; mild to moderate sweetish-caramelly finish with a delicate bitter counterpart. Drinkable, unfortunately not very moreish…
