Bottle (by kind permission of joss !): Murky brown, smaller off-white foamy layer, fruity (onions...), worty and yeasty nose, underpinned by some dark-malty traces; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; worty, sweet-malty, slightly sourish finish with an aromatic hoppy touch in the aftertaste. Tastes like a semi-professional brew....

Leicht säuerlicher Antrunk, dezent karamellmalzig, stark CO2 haltig. Wenig, dafür konstant würzig. Herber werdend, trocken hopfig. Harmonisch säuerlich-würzig im Abgang, etwas nussig. Nettes Dunkles, das etwas aus der Reihe tanzt. Danke an Dnstonie. 9/9/9/9/7/9

(swing top bottle) Cloudy, murky brown colour with a short off-white foamy layer. Sweet and yeasty, slightly worty and toasted malty nose with shy notes of toffee and traces of herbal hops. Light-sweet flavour, quite slim bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slightly toasty and a bit greenish malty taste with light notes of toffee; sweetish and slim malt-accented finish with light hoppy notes. Rather unconvincing (30.10.07).

Bottle. Light fruity nose. Orange brown, low off-white head. Fruity yast base, minerals, roast, fairly dry, herbal finish. Fresh. Roasted retronasal. Medium body, mellow dry mouthfeel. Fresh and nice.
