COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We’re two nations separated by a common language. They call it Bitter we call it Pale.Either way this marriage of British malt and American hops is just what a proper ale should be. We’de say its on the money but they’d call it Bang On.

Crystal malt and English malt pop through beautifully. The hop character is mild yet delicious, and the overall taste is lager-ish bit with an ale finish. Pours a golden amber with an off-white head. Aroma of delicious hops and lager-like florals. Very well done. Fantabox

Copper/amber pour with a white head malty up front, honey, bread, yeast, some mild hops, earthy finish. Nose was floral and lead me to think it might be a bit more bitter.

Poured from 22oz bomber with brother Ben. This beer has a good Lilly orchid smell. Color is dark orange with nice frothy head that stays a few minutes. Flavor is simple & not much to it, some cereal flavor. 6.9 bd. 9 ben

Bottle from Crosstown Liquor, Vancouver
Hazy copper-amber color with small creamy head. Strong smell of grains, wet malt, paper. Well carbonated, smooth mouthfeel; the malt flavor is a bit caramelly and biscuity; correct bitterness. Tea.
Tired feeling.

Barnoloid (157) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 25, 2014
Picked this up from a local bottle shop, was intrigued by the effort to meld a British Bitter and American Pale Ale. This is as typically easy drinking as many English style pales. Thin to medium mouthfeel with a healthy, frothy head when poured into an imperial pint glass. This is not a beer that is going to get people excited on the forums but it does reflect exactly the style that Gigantic is aiming for. A solid, sessionable ale with a refined malt profile.

ryecatcher (760) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 23, 2014
Bomber. Pours a hazy burnt orange, medium head with decent retention and lacing. Nose is grassy, hint of malt, wet cardboard. Mouth is medium bodied, kinda watery, malt and cereal forward, crackery, finishes with more graininess and some bitterness. Average at best.

Lagerboy (1208) - British Columbia, CANADA - APR 23, 2014
Bomber. Mostly clear dirty orange copper, healthy off-white foam settles and fades. Malty aroma, caramel and citrus. Floral citric hop taste, toasty pale biscuity malt, some caramel, lightly bitter. Softer than average carbonation, light-medium bodied, moderately hopped. An enjoyable quaff. LBW (Lagerboys Be Wary)

Rich amber color; Medium slightly creamy body; Aroma of malt/yeast, floral hops, & light fruit; Flavor of malt/biscuit, caramel, herbal hops, and some fruit/citrus; Crisp finish; Nicely balanced; Good.

Oakes (12352) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 13, 2014
Golden-amber, thin head. Aroma is vague, bit crackery. More in the palate - crackery, earthy, foresty hops, a bit like bottled Bass or a 1990s bitter...not up to speed on what English pale is in England these days.

Bottle:   When I saw this was an English Pale Ale I thought to myself, another skunked beer.   Well, until I realized it was made locally!   To my amazement, this one was a soft tea and citrus bitterness, with a soft smooth malt background.   A touch musty, but very smooth.   This is way too easy to drink.   With the American hops you might think it would be over the top, but this one has balance.   Soft hops, smooth malts, and a touch musty.   Bang On might be correct.   Well done!

Draft pour at links. Reddish orange with white head. Rye and bitter taste. Slight fruit and earth notes. Pretty easy drinking but nothing special
