Hazy deep amber beer, small pale cream coloured head. Palate is smooth with fine minerally carbonation. Semi dry. Smooth light malt, starts with a sweet burst and then brings light cream and toffee. Light ripe fruits and a light dry finish. Okay.

Orange-amber body topped by a thick, creamsicle head. Interesting leafy and fruity nose, while the body launches off fruity and malty cider flavors accompanied by smooth resiny character, punctuated by fruit punchy bursts.

Scopey (5506) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 25, 2014
Bomber at BD Aberdeen. It pours hazy orange-amber with a thick off-white head. The nose is candy, orange sponge cake, fruit cake, dried fruits and brown sugar. The taste is orange sponge cake, muffin, earth, dough, citrus peel, dried fruit and light toast with a bitter-sweet finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Scoopable, but not a whole lot going on. Perhaps a touch sweet.

650ml bottle, pours golden brown with a bit of haze. Aroma is caramel and lagered biscuit malt. Some piney character balanced. Finish is crisp and light bitter. Carbonation mild. The name suggested this was going to be a darker beer, but this was pretty good.

UPDATED: JAN 3, 2014 Poured from 22 ounce bomber. Light brown. Tame head sticks around, sticky. Some malts, smooth. Somewhat woody sweet flavor finish. 8 Patrice. Clean crisp, the best lager. 8 bd

AWISLguy (1048) - Wisconsin, USA - DEC 15, 2013
Bomber from La Primera. Pours a clear amber/orange with a white head leaving some spot of lace. Aroma has dirty dishwater, fruit and hay, somewhat earthy. Taste is of sweet fruit, chiles, biscuity malts and bread. Lowly carbonated with some alcohol presence. Medium bodied. Finishes quite sweet with light fruits. Shrug? Not my favority style and a somewhat sugary version of it did not help with selling it.

Bomber. Pours a cloudy dark copper color with a medium white head. A sweet toffee and caramel malt nose. The flavor is big sweet malts, dry leaves, crisp light earthy hops. Very good.

Rich ruby and orange tinted coloured body with a thin, one centimetre tall tan head with a perfect tint. Aroma of nice chewy, earthy malt, good rich caramel, toffee and a bit of a pear and apple scent at the end. Medium-bodied; Super mild malty flavour with some hints of figs, raisins and toffee and a very light spiciness. Aftertaste is super mild with only a handful of sweetness coming through and very little else, perhaps some fruit notes, but that’s it. Overall, a very mild and relatively unimpressive beer - nothing offensive, but nothing truly flavourful and nothing after a few seconds into the taste. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Made in Oregon in Portland, Oregon (PDX Terminal D) on 28-September-2013 for US$5.50 sampled at home in Washington a few minutes before leaving back for Portland on 10-November-2013.

Lagerboy (1067) - British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 11, 2013
Bomber. Clear orange copper, foamy off-white head settles quickly and lasts. Sweet caramel, nutty aroma, some orange. Tastes mostly of caramel sugarcane sweetness, also toasty cereal grain, lager malt, a bit nutty, with a hint of citrus. Soft carbonation, light body, low hopped. Lightly dry, bittersweet finish. LBW (Lagerboys Be Wary)
