Bomber from Spirits Jackson. Poured a deep amber body with an average sized frothy off white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, apricot, pineapple, sweet grains. Flavor of fruit skins, dry toast, grains, touch of alcohol on the very end. Smooth creamy body, softer carbonation and a well hidden ABV.

Bomber from Capone’s. Pours hazy copper with 2-fingers of off-white head. Nose is heavy floral and piney hops, caramel malt, tangerine. Tastes hoppy, very caramel malty, somewhat sweet, with notes of marmalade, pepper. A bit sweet late, not bad, not world class.

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Coppers, Newcastle. 650ml Bottle. Hazy amber coloured with a thin white head. It has a sweet floral orange blossom and tropical fruit flavour followed by a herbal, earthy and pine, zesty fruit smooth finish. Excellent!

Pours a dark, clear, copper with a fluffy head. Aroma is a little soapy but in a good way like the cherry lips. A sweet, soapy flavour again like the cherry lips is finished by a nice bitterness. The strangest double IPA I’ve had but I really like it.

Medium, very dense and fine, light yellowish head over well and finely carbonated orange-copper beer. Citrus, and immediately also something salty, mineral. Certain dried herbs, dry malt. Bitter, faintly spicy/peppery flavour; citruspeel. Again dry, maybe slgihtly oxydized malts. Feels very well, spritzily carbonated; medium bodied and viscous-slick. Long lasting flavours. I wouldn’t be surprised at all to learn this is much better in the place of its origin. Feels like having suffered from the voyage.

Bottle from Oddbins Beer Shop, Blackheath. Light hazy amber pour with a beige head. Aromas of summer fruits, sweet citrus, pear and light spice. Flavours of wheat, corn, citrus. Sweet fruit on the palate. Booze laden finish. Nicely balanced brew. Tasty stuff.

Bottle at home. Pours a deep amber with a small white lasting head. Aroma is caramel, pineapple, slight grapefruit. Taste is ripened tropical fruits, slight pine, citrus, caramel, slight grass. Really good beer, just slightly lacking that big hoppy kick.
