22 ounce bottle from Binnys. Tropical fruit. Citrus. Slightly malty. Overall nice and probably superior at the source.

On tap at Lunar Brewing Co.. Snifter served rather than the more appropriate shaker, so presentation suffered a bit. Displayed a hazed, orangy gold color, with a fair hat of soft white foam that diminished rather quickly to a ring & film, but left some clingy, wavy spray on the glass. The aroma was mild sweetness, pleasant & perfumy scent of mid-fruit, citrus as orange & grapefruit, and a little resiny backing. Medium bodied, suitably carbonated, with a medium, forward, but well rounded hop bitterness that offered some lingering qualities, some earthiness, and good malt support A flavorful representative of the style, and will gladly enjoy again when the price becomes a little more realistic.

Great piney, citrus scents of hops. Great tan orange color with a slightly cloudy body. I great hop taste that is followed by an amazing rinse that leave a delicate trace behind. It is a very refreshing hoppy beer. Very enjoyable!

Octomber 2012. 22 oz. bottle. Dark amber with an offwhite head. Big aromas of hops, pine, resins, citrus and malt. Some caramel flavors, but very balanced with the tropical fruit and hops. Long bitter finish. Definitely a keeper.

22oz Bottle pours a hazy golden color with some fine frothy head. Intense full hop flavor at the beginning that quickly dies away but then re-emerges at the end with a lip smacking bitterness. An enjoyable IPA.

22oz bomber. Not date on bottle.. New distribution in SF Bay Area this week. A solid IPA. Seems to be bottle conditioned, so that's huge points. Creative label is also bonus points. Malt definitely takes the backseat to the hops here.. Earthy, herbal, floral, citrus hops dominate the profile... Minor hints of malt give support... Nice bitterness, without being overwhelming or astringent. Great mouthfeel, carbonation and refreshing weight. Well balanced and not overdone or over-the-top. I could drink a lot of this!! A solid "go to" IPA.. It seems to tick all the boxes of what a "West Coast IPA" is... On par with all the the other solid "West Coast IPA" breweries. If you like Racer 5, you'll enjoy this. Awesome. Solid. Gigantic ;) Worth trying... and buying again. Highly recommended. --- tasted while on a long journey to understand the world around me...

650ml bomber bottle, at tasting on 18 November 2012. Thanks to Theydon_Bois for sharing. Gold. Another decent West Coast style IPA. You know the sort of thing - plenty of citric hops, some pine / resin etc etc. Nothing particularly out of the ordinary but well done and mighty tasty. Solid and workmanlike, in a good way.

22 oz bomber. There are so many good IPAs out of Portland that one can get overwhelmed with the nuance differences between them. This is a very solid IPA with the usual citrus hop bomb of flavor at every sip. Very well done.

Had double dry hopped cask version at Elysian Beer fest. Had funky armpit aroma with pine citrus hops. Tastes of rancid peachy sweet pine hops that mesh well with the funk. Really good in spite of the the funk. Slight creamy mouthfeel.
