Draft. Pours golden amber with a white head. Fruity and piney hops, lightly sweet malts, and medium bitterness. Pretty damn good.

Bottle from Bine & Vine. Floral, earth, mineral aroma, with lemony citrus, some pine, and light caramel. Copper colored with a lasting khaki head on top that laces pretty well. There’s sticky pine flavor with pineapple, mango, and orange peel. Underneath the hops is a biscuity and caramel malt body; sturdy, but easy to drink. Bitter and slightly sticky in the finish. Ho-hum, just another tasty IPA from the West Coast.

Samples at the Great Canadian Beer Festival. Bright and chewy peach/ tangerine/ melon aroma. Sweet crystal malt under a gently hop bitterness. Big, strong flavour though not a palate smasher. Need to try it again in greater quantity.

Bomber from Zupan’s grocery in Portland. Yellow-gold pour with thin white head and light spotty lacing. Aroma is strong sweet tropical citrus and grass. Tastes are caramel, grapefruit, mango, pine, resinous, light caramel, peach, grass, earthy. Comes off as sweet and syrupy - sits heavy. Finishes lightly bitter and dry.

Bottle. Pours dark golden with a finger thick head. Nice dry hopped aroma with orange peel, sweet citrus and apricot, passion fruits and tropical fruits, as well as notes of malt and toffee. Full creamy body with normal carbonation. Flavour is bitter with orange peel, grapefruit and peaches, and a very nice long finish with good grapefruity bitterness. A big and tasty IPA.

Aroma is earthy/sweetish malts, light pine and toffee/caramel. The flavor is toffee/caramel, very light grapefruit, malts and light citrus hops in the finish. A lot more subdued than expected, not bad as a whole though.
